“Let children walk with Nature, let them see the beautiful blendings and communions of death and life, their joyous inseparable unity, as taught in woods and meadows, plains and mountains and streams of our blessed star, and they will learn that death is stingless indeed, and as beautiful as life.”
~John Muir
An exhibition, in conjunction with the newly released book A Restless Eye by John Charles Woods and
in celebration of what would have been the artist's 100th birthday.
The Weston Gallery opened in 1974 and remains one of the oldest and most respected gallery of its kind, a world leader in the field of fine vintage and contemporary photography.
This position of leadership stems from our deep dedication to the medium. We deal specifically in photographs as works of art. We emphasize those works which we feel are important in the overall history of 19th, 20th and 21st Century art.
We are fortunate to have an extensive inventory and a wealth of knowledge available to assist any collector. While we are great generalists in the medium of photography, we are most effective in dealing with specific inquiries.
We invite you to visit us on Sixth Avenue in Carmel, California. We are open daily from 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Pacific Time).
